en I’m moving in response to the sound recording we made of us moving and signing at the same time. During this week we were really thinking about the different ways we can convey sound through visual language such as sign language and movement as well as through the physical vibrations or sensations that sound creates. Being blindfolded allows me to tune into the sounds and the vibrations of the recording which I am using to improvise a movement translation of what I hear. This process could form the basis of how we could convey sounds to Deaf audiences.
