The Misperception of Sound

Description
-
en
The Misperception of Sound by the Wales / Cymru collective - over a week of research that explores how sound functions in a Deaf and hearing collective; the sounds of fluent sign language, the sounds of learning sign language, the attempt at movement and sign language in tandem, blindfolded movement translation of sensations and a lunch time drill. The work encapsulates the range of sound we work with as well as the observation of the continual hummmmmm of sound pollution that’s all around us.
It is recommended you play this recording on a large a speaker with good base as you can. Sit next to the speaker if you can.
