This is one of my latest works which I personally did two weeks ago and perfectly answers the theme of objects and arises many questions. This piece is part of voice installation but now I present it separately. As you can see here we have an old chair with anti bird spikes on it. I wanted to use everyday object and restrict person from using it in a very specific way. For me this work is a daily reminder of our modern agony, desperately trying to reach the very end moment in which you can breath out, seat back and relax, but it never comes as we are tied in this imaginative rat race of constant competition of reaching things. Also it can be linked to the main theme of the installation which is extinction. We as humans create environment which supports extinction of animals, birds and humans.
