We recorded a child from our circle reading a script he wrote at school, and this recording became the dramaturgical line of this little video.
As a rotating group of artists, we didn’t recreate a previous scene. What we returned to instead were elements from earlier residencies: the location and the act of bringing in the performers’ children. As before, we asked what an artist is to a five-year-old and let their presence reshape the work.
We filmed in the same location as our second residency and worked within a two-hour time limit, using only what was already there, allowing something new to emerge, shaped by the space, the children’s voices, and the moment.
