Title: en Body politics in the dance awards
Description: en Tier 4 dealing with the body politics paradoxically coincided with the National Dance Award ceremony in Latvia. The awards brings together ballet, contemporary dance, stage folk dance and commercial dance. This is the place bodies are evaluated, the ones appropriate to each genre awarded and often being looked critically by other genres. People dress up for the ceremony in a way they consider festive and pose in their fancy ways. This image with 3 iCoDaCo artists (Aigars, Inta, Agate) most likely would not not happen if not the project and if it would it would definetly be more standing up and more classic. A minuscule protest to the common representation of the bodies at the award ceremonies.
