It was a day to pick up potatoes from the neighbour, a day in November 2025. The neighbour has a dog called Pearl. She is as fast as light speed, she likes to leave traces, lasting traces. She created a time stamp for me on the week we thought about time. She must have known that I have bad memory. Traces help to remember. Traces is something I look in dance, in the form that is the most transitory of all the forms. Once the airs stops swaying it is over. What remains is an image, a sensation, a sound, something something I don't know what. If the time gets manipulated during the dance (it always is?) it is a gift. A gift for body memory. The footprints on the car seat will fade but Pearl's joy when she left those will remain in the active body memories.
