Morphing berimbau Drawing on the morphing structure which encourages tonotice something about a movement and morph it into that direction, I’ve explored the Afro-Brazilian instrument berimbau. Inspired by collaborative work with the Latvian ICoDaCo team

Object of play Exploration of an object in space. How is it my partner in contact and apart from me? Inspired by the unrest of Sabīne Neilande.

Feet on the floor I’m working on a new project. I’m always working in silence.
When I showed it to others, they said there is something about the sound my feet on the ground make.
Should I make sound track for the performance out of it?

Rolling on the rocks Lately my interest have been in exploring different movement ideas in a site specific setting and then bringing them into the studio. How the environment can be inspiration for the movement?
This way of working helps me to create movement that’s not sterile and disconnect to what’s happening around it.

Autumn morning A soundscape inspired by the quiet magic of early autumn mornings — where mist, dew, and cold air meet gentle warmth. Soft tones and subtle pulses evoke mystery, stillness, and the spark of new inspiration.

“Eco”Headpiece This mask/costume was used in a video for the one-to-one performance Eco-Confessional, where the audience could humorously confess their “ecological sins.” Made from a plastic toilet paper package, it highlights the paradox of trying to live eco-friendly while still being repeatedly caught in consumerist traps. I like to avoid creating new waste and work with found materials, letting their meaning shift in a new context. I feel at home in site-specific approaches and also perceive a connection between site-specific work and using objects from the immediate surroundings in their original form.

a place where life meets death This file was made in one of my residencies. I was exploring the nature around the place where I was staying. I found a pond near the village. It was the end of spring beginning of summer. Nature in full blossoms. In this audio you can hear how someone are born while others die to become a food.

My body as an unfolded music sheet The first time I used my body as an object and it represents the unfolded paper (music sheet) here. Which was also a metaphor of the dying muse.
It was really interesting that this week we were working with a Puppeteer, and his first exercise was working with a paper. It opened new horizont of thinking about materials and props usage on stage.

Never to Relax This is one of my latest works which I personally did two weeks ago and perfectly answers the theme of objects and arises many questions. This piece is part of voice installation but now I present it separately. As you can see here we have an old chair with anti bird spikes on it. I wanted to use everyday object and restrict person from using it in a very specific way. For me this work is a daily reminder of our modern agony, desperately trying to reach the very end moment in which you can breath out, seat back and relax, but it never comes as we are tied in this imaginative rat race of constant competition of reaching things. Also it can be linked to the main theme of the installation which is extinction. We as humans create environment which supports extinction of animals, birds and humans.
